New Start: a story about starting over.

Once upon a time, there was this girl who rocked the business world. She built relationships and developed leaders all over the globe. Team building and coaching were her strengths. She was unstoppable; her fire lit a fire in all of her team members. Her tribe would follow her to the end of the earth because there was the excitement of momentus growth in their businesses.

Then one day, tragedy struck in this girl’s life. Life happens right? After tragedy, comes the burn out. After the burn out, comes the loss of passion for what she was doing. The snowball effect kicked in and her business died down. This girl who once was legendary, lost her way. She spend years trying things that really didn’t pan out. Nothing sparked that fire or desire to run with the opportunity. Nothing was quite the same, until now!

After years of floating in the breeze, self reflecting, and a crazy global pandemic that fire came back! It’s amazing how the right people come in your life at the right time. All the pieces that were once scattered start lining up. I truly believe you are in the place you were meant to be at this time. You just need to learn to recognize the opportunity when it’s right in front of you. You need to see the vision of the future at maximum potential possibility.

It’s really easy to get stuck in the successes of the past. If you get stuck celebrating something that was special and amazing in the past, you miss the opportunity to celebrate new successes. You must be open to new adventures. Acknowledge that something was audacious when it happens, but move on quickly to the next goal or chance to succeed. Don’t hold yourself back from maximum potential. You accomplished a goal…don’t be a one hit wonder.

It’s okay to move on from the past. It’s okay to start over. You can start over as many times as you need to until you find that fire again. You need to feel the passion from within! You know when it’s the right thing to put your time and effort into.

One thing that holds people back from starting over is what other people will think. My answer to this is that it doesn’t matter what other people think. It’s up to you to do what you think is the right choice at that time. If you gave your business everything and it’s just not working out, it’s okay to say “this isn’t working out”. It’s okay to switch to something else. Your story is written by you alone. Don’t give people the power to allow yourself to doubt your choices. Your choices are your choices.

It’s okay to begin anew. Everyone starts from the same place…with a clean slate.

DETERMINING FACE SHAPES

MEASUREMENT STEPS:

Step 1: Using a ruler, measure your face from your hairline down to your chin.

Step 2: Divide your answer by 3.

Step 3: Using the same ruler, measure the distance from the bottom of your nose to the bottom of your chin.

If your result in Step 2 is GREATER than your result in Step 3, your face is probably long or square.

If your answer in Step 2 is LESS than it is in Step 3, you likely have a round face.

If your results in Steps 2 and 3 are equal, chances are you have an oval or a heart-shaped face. Once you narrow it down with the formula above, you can usually make a final determination studying your face in the mirror. To further solidify your decision…follow these steps below.

DETAILED STEPS TO NARROW DOWN:

STEP 1: What’s the Widest Part of Your Face?

Forehead: If your forehead is the widest part of your face, tapering down to a narrower jaw, you probably have an inverted triangle or heart-shaped face. Proceed to Step 2 to get more insight.
Cheekbones:

If your cheekbones are the widest part of your face, you probably have an oval, round, diamond or heart-shaped face. Proceed to Step 2 to get more insight.

Jaw: If your jaw is the widest part of your face, with a narrower forehead, you probably have a pear-shaped face. Skip to the Pear section below to learn more!

They’re all equal: If your forehead, cheekbones and jaw are about equal in width, then you probably have a long or square face. Proceed to Step 2 to get more insight.

STEP 2: What’s Your Jaw Shape?

Round: If you have a rounded jaw shape, you probably have a round, long or oval-shaped face. Proceed to Step 3 to get more insight.

Pointy: If you have a pointy chin, and your cheekbones are the widest part of your face, with a narrower chin and forehead, you probably have a diamond-shaped face. Skip to the Diamond section below to learn more! If you have a pointy chin and your forehead or cheekbones are the widest part of your face, you probably have an inverted triangle or heart-shaped face. Proceed to Step 4 to get more insight.

Square: If you have a square jaw shape, you probably have a square-shaped face. Your forehead, cheekbones and jaw should also be about equal in width; your face may be as long as it is wide, or slightly rectangular. (Note: Pear-shaped faces can also appear to have a square jaw, but the forehead is narrower.) Skip to the Square section below to learn more!

STEP 3: How Long is Your Face?

Short: If your face length and width are about equal, and your jaw is rounded, you probably have a round face shape. Skip to the Round section below to learn more!

Average: If your face is slightly longer than it is wide, and your cheekbones are the widest part of your face, with a rounded chin, you probably have an oval face shape. Skip to the Oval section below to learn more!

If your face is slightly longer than it is wide, with a pointy chin, you probably have an inverted triangle or heart-shaped face. Proceed to Step 4 to get more insight.

Long: If your face is noticeably longer than it is wide, you probably have a long face shape. Your forehead, cheekbones and jaw should also be equal in width, with a rounded jaw. Skip to the Long section below to learn more!

STEP 4: Do You Have a Widow’s Peak?

Yes: If you have a widow’s peak and pointy chin, and your forehead or cheekbones are the widest part of your face, you probably have a heart-shaped face. Skip to the Heart section below to learn more!

No: If you don’t have a widow’s peak, but you do have a pointy chin, and your forehead is the widest part of your face, you probably have an inverted triangle face shape. Skip to the Inverted Triangle section below to learn more!

Note: Some people are a combination of face types, such as a long square (rectangle), rounded heart, etc. If this is the case, go with the shape that is most dominant.
