“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” ― Marilyn Monroe
🍒1) Americans are known for eating junk food; we don’t get the necessary healthy ingredients our ancestors did when they lived off the land and prepared their own food from scratch. There is something to say home made meals
🍒2) We encounter more toxins than ever before; daily vitamins help us get rid of those daily poisons we now come in contact with on a daily basis
🍒3) Of food is genetically modified; New York Times said it best in an article in 2013. “they are breeding the nutrition right out of our food!” When genetically modified, our foods (vegetables, fruits, meats and grains) become less dense with nutrients and more filled with unnecessary things that we consume.
🍒4) Our water has less minerals; many minerals are being removed from our water supplies, for several reasons. Let’s not stir the conspiracy theory pool!
🍒5) Commercial farming is not our friend; such powerful fertilizers are ruining our foods, although speeding up the chain of supply; what we get is less nutritious food because of the soil it is grown in.
🍒6) We get our produce from sources outside the USA; because of long distance shipping and several days, even weeks of being flown across the country, sitting in a warehouse or semi beds, our food looses the nutritional value it once had. Local grown is always better. It also supports small businesses and farmers directly.
🍒7) We don’t absorb nutrients like we use to; our systems were initial made to break down, utilize and restore our health with the simple natural nutrients that we use to grow and eat, right from the land. Today supplements can help compensate for the nutrition list during our now less than ideal digestion and consumption process.
And finally,
🍒8 ) You need nutrients to exercise and let’s be real, if all of the above information hasn’t convinced you why supplements are needed think about your exercise routine. If you even have one. Supplements bridge the gap between what we need and what we lack. This gives us optimum ability to not only live in our day to day routines but to help us sustain the energy to be physically active.
So what are your thoughts? Comment below what you think or if you are looking for a sample to a great supplement that supplies all of the above things, let me know ……
