  1. Prevent acne and clogged pores.
  2. Better color application. Clean and healthy tools work better.
  3. Maintains soft brushes. This ensures less skin irritation.

What Does Confident Beauty Mean?

Confident Beauty

What does confident beauty mean to you? Is it purely a physical confidence, inside confidence, or your entire being? For me, it’s the entire self.

Kindness

Kindness is a huge part of my confidence. I feel the best when I am the kindest to people regardless of how they are treating me. If I feel like I am being unkind or ungrateful, then I feel like I am not being my most confident and awesome self.

Gratitude

“Gratitude is the best attitude.” It may seem simple and clique, but clique things are often the truth. If you are not grateful for what you have, the people that surround you, and teach your children to be grateful, then for me that eats into my confidence. I want to live a life of being thankful, not a life of entitlement and not recognizing what is good around me. I appreciate everyone in my life.

Positivity

Is there such thing as being too positive? I don’t think so. I think positive people try to find the silver lining in any situation. They focus on the positive parts instead of the negative parts. Let’s face it, nothing and no one is perfect but if you open your eyes, you’ll see the good. It’s also important to be able to recognize the not so good parts too. That way you accept the good parts, and know what to work on to fix the not so good parts.

Focus

Focus on what you can control and let the rest go. It’s wasted energy and confidence focusing on anything that you cannot control. If you focus too much on what you cannot control, then you be come less confident and you start to question yourself. Keep moving forward and continue to learn.

Wellness

I am the queen of not taking care of myself. Somewhere along the line I decided everyone is more important than I am. I am changing this. I need to take care of my health and wellness so I can function at a high performance level and be around for my family. Sleeping, eating, exercising, and finding things that make me happy are a huge part of my new life.

Selfcare

Along with wellness, selfcare is so important. You are worthy of taking time for yourself. If you give everything you have to everyone else, then you will experience major burn out. If you are burnt out, then your confidence will go down. You will feel less powerful. Empower yourself and take care of your mind, time, and body.

Make-up

I love make up because I love feeling put together. If I feel put together and ready to conquer the world, I am more confident to take risks and grow. There is nothing wrong with feeling pretty. If you feel pretty deep inside, then you will glow on the outside. If you are glowing and growing, then your tribe will find you.

Fitness

Yes we should love ourselves for who we are, but part of that is making sure you are healthy. If you feel healthy, you will have more energy and confidence. You do not have to be super skinny to be confident. You just have to be healthy and embrace the energy that comes with being fit. That energy will change your life. You will feel good, then you will fee brave enough to take risks and move forward.

Choices

Choices are huge in your quest for confidence. The right thing is always the right thing to do. The wrong thing is always the wrong thing to do. Trust your gut and do what you feel is right at the time. Yes, you have the right to change your mind later on. That is part of growing and learning. Choose the things that make you happy. If it doesn’t make you happy, then why are you choosing it.

Personal Growth

Your business, life, and growth all depend on your quest to grow as a person. Things will only go as far as you are willing to allow. If you stop working on yourself personally, then you will halt any progress you are making. Then you will struggle to find the reasons why you are on a plateau. Do things that help you find peace within yourself. Read books, work out, take snaps, be active, make friends, and just live to get better each day. Each day is new and strive to make the most of it.

Educational Growth

You are always a student. If you do not learn to adapt and change with the times, then you will be left behind. Learn new skills that will help you grow your business. Step out of your comfort zone and learn something new. Do new things every day. You’ll find as you learn, you will grow, and you will have more adventures in life. Build your legacy through learning new things.

At the end of the day, “Confident Beauty” is what makes you feel like a queen. You are proud of who you are and what you are doing. You are finding rest and peace. You are setting boundaries and outlining how you want to live. You look good, feel good, and strive for something new and exciting each day.

DETERMINING FACE SHAPES

MEASUREMENT STEPS:

Step 1: Using a ruler, measure your face from your hairline down to your chin.

Step 2: Divide your answer by 3.

Step 3: Using the same ruler, measure the distance from the bottom of your nose to the bottom of your chin.

If your result in Step 2 is GREATER than your result in Step 3, your face is probably long or square.

If your answer in Step 2 is LESS than it is in Step 3, you likely have a round face.

If your results in Steps 2 and 3 are equal, chances are you have an oval or a heart-shaped face. Once you narrow it down with the formula above, you can usually make a final determination studying your face in the mirror. To further solidify your decision…follow these steps below.

DETAILED STEPS TO NARROW DOWN:
