Contouring 101

💙Contouring 101:
Contouring involves using a darker shade to create shadows, giving the illusion of more defined cheekbones, a slimmer nose, and a sculpted jawline.
For this step, you can use any number of SeneGence’s cream products such as CCTM/foondation, BlushSense or ShadowSense in a shade that is a few shades darker than your natural skin tone.
Apply the contouring product in the following areas:
◾️Cheekbones: Suck in your cheeks to locate the hollows, then apply the darker shade just below the cheekbones and blend it upward towards your ears.
◾️Nose: Apply the product along the sides of your nose to create the illusion of a slimmer bridge.
◾️Jawline: Define your jawline by applying the darker shade along the edge of your jaw and blend it downwards towards your neck.
◾️Forehead: To make your forehead appear smaller, apply a bit of the darker shade along the hairline and blend it inwards.

💙Blend, Blend, Blend!
The key to achieving a natural and seamless look is blending. Use a clean makeup sponge or a blending brush to soften any harsh lines

📍Remember, practice makes perfect! Don’t be discouraged if your first attempt isn’t exactly how you envisioned it. Experiment with different shades and intensities until you find the perfect contouring and highlighting balance that complements your unique features.

What Does Seint Contour Do?

Your face is three dimensional and your foundation should be too. To really define your natural features and shadows, contour is what you need to help you achieve that depth.

  1. Chisel your cheekbones
  2. Fill your eye brows
  3. Line your lips
  4. Contour your lips to appear fuller or thinner
  5. Add depth and definition
  6. Great for eyeshadow

Contour is usually a cooler tone unless you prefer something warmer. There are some shades that are warmer rather than cooler.

Suggestion: Use a cool tone contour to chisel your features, then use Bronzer to get that sun kissed warmth.
