A Mini Guide to Cleansing Your Crystals

โ€œIn a crystal we have clear evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is nonetheless a living being.โ€

Crystals have special energies that can help change and convert other energies. However, to maintain their effectiveness, it’s important to cleanse them regularly, especially if they’ve supported you through a time of transition or come into contact with negative energy from others. Different crystals require different cleansing methods, so it’s crucial to choose the right one for your particular type of crystal. Hereโ€™s a mini guide to help you get the most out of your crystals.

Effective Methods to Cleanse Your Crystals

To maintain the vitality of your crystals, regular cleansing rituals are essential. Consider these effective methods to cleanse your crystals and revitalize their energies:

1. Moon Glow

Allow the light of the moon to shine upon your crystals and charge them. The gentle energy of the moon, particularly during the full moon, is excellent for rejuvenating your crystals.

2. Water

Immerse your crystals in cleansing water. This method is particularly suitable for crystals that are not water-soluble. Always ensure your specific crystal can safely be submerged.

3. Smudging

Utilize the sacred smoke of sage or other cleansing herbs to purify your crystals. Ignite a sage stick and pass your crystals through the aromatic smoke, setting the intention to release any unwanted energies. Check out our sage smudge stick bundles here.

4. Continual Cleansing with Other Stones

Pair your crystals with other cleansing stones such as Carnelian and Selenite to amplify the cleansing process. These stones can help maintain the clarity and energy of your crystals over time.

5. Salt

Nest your crystals in a bed of salt to cleanse away stagnant energies. Salt is a powerful purifier and can help draw out negative energy from your crystals.

6. Mother Nature’s Embrace

Bury your crystals within the earth and leave them overnight. This method allows your crystals to reconnect with the natural energies of the Earth, grounding and refreshing them.

7. Nature’s Flow

Rinse your crystals in the flow of a river, the sea, or any other natural water source. The movement of natural water can effectively wash away any impurities and negative energies.

8. Father Sunโ€™s Kiss

Leave your crystals in the sun to be cleansed and refreshed. The sun’s vibrant energy can recharge and purify your crystals, but be mindful of crystals that might fade under direct sunlight.

By applying these methods, you can restore your crystals’ vibrant energies, ensuring they continue to support you on your journey. Regular cleansing will keep your crystals at their highest energetic potential, helping you to harness their full power.

THE MOVE- Zen Story

Two men visit a Zen master.
The first man says: โ€œIโ€™m thinking of moving to this town. Whatโ€™s it like?โ€
The Zen master asks: โ€œWhat was your old town like?โ€
The first man responds: โ€œIt was dreadful. Everyone was hateful. I hated it.โ€
The Zen master says: โ€œThis town is very much the same. I donโ€™t think you should move here.โ€
The first man leaves and the second man comes in.
The second man says: โ€œIโ€™m thinking of moving to this town. Whatโ€™s it like?โ€
The Zen master asks: โ€œWhat was your old town like?โ€
The second man responds: โ€œIt was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and I was happy. Just interested in a change now.โ€
The Zen master says: โ€œThis town is very much the same. I think you will like it here.โ€
What we seek is what we find. The reasons why you do what you do matter as much, if not more, as what you end up doing. Because they shape how you seek. So, ultimately, theyโ€™ll also determine what you find.
